Well, Chase's wish came true AGAIN. We got probably 5 more inches overnight, so school is closed. Looks like we will be puttin on the layers once again, and heading out to play later. Note: as a mom, I really don't like winter fun, after it's done, because it is a pain to undress everyone. They are cold, wet, and crabby by the time we come in. We have a collection of hats, gloves, boots, pants, coats, scarves, etc by the heating vents, drying out and there is a slushy mess on the wood floors! Oh, well, it IS fun to play in the snow and to see thier joy, so it's worth it! Hope everyone has fun in the snow today (if you got some). And take the time to sled down a hill if you haven't done it in years....it is as fun as you remember!!

I thought that the weather people were wrong as they are so often but in this case they were right. Today is definitely the better day to go out and play, we won't be getting pealted with sleet.
We will probably be out but Claire was up last night with a fever and threw up. She is fine today her fever is gone, she is eating and running all around I don't get it. So my point being if you don't want to play with us I TOTAL understand, as much as it kills Claire we will stay in our yard.
I agree - this in and out thing with the sledding takes its toll on moms... Andrew is recycling thru "dirty" clothes for all of his layers... but they do have FUN!! Dewey looks like he was having fun (not so sure about Brooke) :)
Boo - we wish we could come play with you. Sloan was in tears this morning wanting to go out but we are trying to avoid the whole pneumonia thing so we've quarantined ourselves for one more day. Hopefully tomorrow we'll be able to get out in the snow a little bit. Sloan will not be in school again as right now he sounds like he's going to lose a lung every time he coughs. This flu thing is killer! See ya!
Love your pictures of Dewey in the snow. Looks like the kids had fun. Grace didn't get a chance to go out and play. We went out Tuesday but she got cold quickly and i worked on Wednesday. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get some snow playtime!
