There are no coincidences
Today was a day like any other day. UNTIL. Our sweet dog Dewey almost got hit by a car. I just recieved an email earlier today about living each moment, because you never know what will happen in a year, a month, a day, a minute, a second. Boy is that the truth!! In a split second, I stood in my driveway, eyes focused on my Dewey running out to meet the oncoming car. All I could think to do was drop the mail I was holding and scream a blood curdling scream of "D-E-W-E-Y!!!! I saw the whole thing happen in slow motion. And the only explanation I have for him not getting injured is God sending His angels to intervene. Because where I stood, it looked like his back leg was going to be totally mangled by the cars back wheel. When in fact, all that happened, is he got a huge black mark from the tire rubbing up against him!! Nothing else but dirty fur! Praise God. We learned tonight in Bible study that there are NO coincidences in life. Only God intervening in certain times of our lives. He IS there when we call out to Him in our greatest times of need, and for that I am so grateful. I don't know what I would've done if something terrible happened to our baby. Thank you God for protecting our 4-legged baby!

Being as I was right there with you witnessing the whole thing I agree with you 100% that Dewey definitely had angels surronding him and protecting him from a situation that could have turned out VERY badly.
This reminds me of my friend Tiffany who was in a terrible accident many years ago and the only thing she remembers as the car was being hit and spinning out of control of the road is hitting the dashboard with her hand and yelling "Save Me Jesus". She was found about 50 feet from the car. The paramedics said it was a miracle that she got out of the car because she would have died for sure if she was still in the car. The door and dashboard had both collapsed onto her seat. She has no idea how she got out of the seat/seatbelt only thing she knew is she didn't do it.
Glad he is OK!! I don't think you could handle losing another "baby" so soon!
